Vocation Fair November 2006 at Mary by the Sea High School
in San Pedro, CA.

     Brother Benedict on right and Brother Alphonsus on left explaining the
history and charism of the Patrician Brothers.  Vocational brochures were distributed to the students and a power point presentation was available on a laptop computer.  The students were very attentive and interested in learning more about a vocation as a brother.   Fourteen congregations made presentations to the students, and we were the only community of brothers.  Brother Benedict spoke to the entire student body explaining his calling to the vocation.

     A similar presentation was made at Junipero Serra High School in Gardena.

The brothers are making an active effort to recruit young men in California.
